Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 2005 DNA

I took the DNA test to trace my African roots and learned that my eldest forbearers were White. I am as dark in complexion as Professor Gates, but, according to the test, I am not Black. I don't know what that means, but I know now that I can't trace my heritage to tribes on the west coast to Africa, because the DNA tests revealed that I am more closely related to modern people in Italy (and a few other western European) countries than I am to Africans. I'm now going to take the admixture test to mitigate or counter this finding.
