On April 24, 1810 my Great, Great, Grandfather Isaac The Old Indian, of mix blood, as his account, fell into slavery on the Littlefield Plantation. RCCG, deed bk. "H":184-187. Division of Estate. Our oral account matched the records. See page 51 of "Robert Stafford of Cumberland Island, Growth of a Planter." By Mary R. Bullard.

On April 29, 2006 the Stafford Family members & decendants will go back to Cumberland. The chartered boat seats aprox 145 people. Most of these people have never been to Cumberland. Archaeologist say that we are of Sierra Leone ancestry.
