I don’t have a particular story per say, but I’ve always been of the mind set that no one is better than anyone else, that some people may be better off but that does not make them better than. I grew up an Air Force Brat, traveled the world and lived amongst many different races but it wasn’t until I came back to Pennsylvania that I began as I got older to experience certain things that made me feel uncomfortable and over time caused me to reflect back on my life to ascertain whether or not I had such experiences before, when I was younger, and I then found myself interested in learning about black history which became more intense with the assassination of Martin Luther King.
