Kent Boone

When I was growing in the 70’s we had anything in our history books about the African American experience here in the America..I only learned that Lincoln freed the slaves …this program taught me so much of the AA history I missed which could’ve helped me be more knowledgeable of myself and my culture. I felt like I was denied, cheated and never informed of my history as whole. I felt hurt and saddened I hardly knew any of this. I didn’t know where to start and research…Henry Gates, you are the best man. To put this all together for one hour is extraordinary and outstanding!!!
