Me and King and Queen County

I started working on my family tree in 2000 with my mother. She was the youngest of seven children and I thought it strange that she only knew bits and pieces of her ancestry. The family spoke of this place called King and Queen County, VA, but in all my mother’s travels, she had never been there. I began the search with her and the motivation was to try and answer all the questions she had as a child that never went answered. Through research, I was able to answer three of the five but sadly, my mother passed away in 2006. I continue this search of ancestors for her. To bring to light the trials and tribulations of my family and to learn…COMPLETELY…who I am.
