Lisa Thomas

I learned about African American history through my Great Aunt who was always so in touch with her heritage, which prompted her to organize a “Negro History Club” so that me and my brothers and sisters could gain as much knowledge as possible of our ancestors. She also went back as far as seven generations on her quest for more knowledge of our family history. And because of her I have a great interest in our history.
