Biographies
Leo Eaton has produced and directed television and film in Europe and the United States for more than 30 years, and has been honored with most of television's top awards. Eaton has executive produced and created (with Chris and Martin Kratt) PBS' 2001 Emmy Award-winning pre-school nature series ZOBOOMAFOO and has also served as director of that series. Eaton is the co-author of IN SEARCH OF ANCIENT IRELAND, the companion book to the three-part PBS series of the same name. Publication is slated for September 2002 by publisher Ivan R. Dee.
Carmel McCaffrey is a native of Dublin, Ireland, and currently teaches Irish history, literature, culture, and language at the Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore. McCaffrey is the co-author of IN SEARCH OF ANCIENT IRELAND, the companion book to the three-part PBS series of the same name. Publication is slated for September 2002 by publisher Ivan R. Dee.
Paul Bacon is a freelance writer, cartoonist, and Web editor based in New York. His work has appeared in the Thirteen and PBS online project THE 1900 HOUSE, SALON, MOTHER JONES, the SAN FRANCISCO EXAMINER, THE DAILY FEED, and MIGHT magazine.
