		<description>The data is in. Supporting alternatives to &quot;one human = one car&quot; is the only way forward. Turning every road into a highway is not working any more. You can&#039;t build your way out of congestion, pollution, traffic fatalities, obesity, oil addiction, etc. It&#039;s great to see that the House transportation committee understands the immense importance of new transportation priorities.</description>

		<description>We must rethink transportation spending away from new highway and toward mass transit programs.  I support increasing the budget and placing a floor on the price of gas to make car transportation incrementally less appealing.</description>
