"Everything I have accomplished in music is greatly indebted to my time in Children's Choruses. Chanticleer has been a dream come true--from our first Grammy and a five-month run in the top 10 of the Billboard Classical Chart to the possibility of an upcoming PBS Christmas special. Of course traveling all over the world has its merits as well. But as I go from place to place, I always remember my roots and the skills I gained in Des Moines."
-- Matt Oltmann, member of Chanticleer and former chorister
