Mission: Lane Arts Council's mission is to "create an environment where the arts flourish with freedom and respect." This is accomplished through YouthArts (arts education), artists' services, arts information and arts advocacy. YouthArts, a program of Lane Arts Council, connects professional artists with children and families in educational and community settings. YouthArts believes in the importance of the arts in the personal, creative and educational development of youth. There are three core YouthArts programs: Artists in Schools, ArtsConnection, and ArtsWorks.

Vision: To build on, refine and strengthen current programs and continue building toward a sustainable future for quality arts programming for youth and families throughout Lane County.
Honors: YouthArts was a semi-finalist for the Coming Up Taller 2000 award from the President's Council for the Arts and Humanities.
