Mission: To promote the arts in Ames and central Iowa by providing space and services for artists, and opportunities for the public to meet the artists, to learn about artistic techniques, and to experience art.
Founder: The founders are a group of amateur and professional artists needing space to work and eager to develop a community of artists. Our founding president is Lee Anne Willson, Professor of Physics and Astronomy at Iowa State University.
