"I wanted to take ballet as a youngster. But when I was little girl they didn't have it offered for blacks. There wasn't a school like this. My son plans on playing drums for our church. Sometimes they have to be pushed to go to class...it's easy for them to think about the FireHouse as school--until they get there. Then, you can't get them to leave." -- Barbara Edmond, parent
