Mission: To produce, promote, and develop dance in Hawaii.
Founder: Honolulu City ballet was founded in 1974 by Mayor Frank Faci. The organization and company was funded almost entirely with funding from the Federal CETA program. Ballet Hawaii was established as a support group and took over the financial responsibilities when the federal program ceased in 1979.

Ballet Hawaii productions star Guest Artists that most recently included Angel Corella, Ashley Tuttle, Sandra Brown, Keith Roberts, John Selya, Rachel Berman, and Alexander Brady.
