Joseph Rodriguez began photographing the life he knew. His first series, "East Side Stories," was about gang life in Los Angeles. His second series, "Spanish Harlem," was about Hispanics in New York City. Rodriguez's current series, "Juvenile Justice," features young men and women who have been through the juvenile justice system of northern California. EGG follows Rodriguez to California and visits three teens whose pasts mirror his own.
