Today, Butoh is an art form that lives on through practitioners attracted to its grotesque and other-worldly physicality and slow, eerie movements. EGG meets Butoh master Kazuo Ohno and those who have been influenced by him: Min Tanaka, the Sankai Juku company, and Poppo. We also meet Maureen Fleming, an American dancer who is lending her imagination and body to this form.
