Sid Laverents writes, directs, stars in, edits, and shoots his own films. He even builds his own camera equipment. Now 93-years old, Sid has labored over his ever-expanding, four-part, autobiographical series, THE SID SAGA, for more than 30 years. Last year his 1970 tour de force, MULTIPLE SIDOSIS, was listed on the National Film Registry as the pinnacle of the home-movie art form. EGG travels to the outskirts of San Diego, California, to witness this master at work, and celebrates the overlooked craft of amateur filmmaking.
