photo Before Jerry Stiller and Anne Meara became the parents of superstar actor Ben Stiller, they performed as the husband-and-wife comedy team Stiller & Meara. Their appearances in nightclubs, regional theatres, on record and TV, most notably with 36 appearances on THE ED SULLIVAN SHOW, made them a staple of the American comedy scene in the late 1950s. Since then they have appeared together in countless movie and TV projects, including their son's movie ZOOLANDER. Jerry's portrayal of Frank Costanza, the father of eternal loser George Costanza, on the hit comedy series SEINFELD is something of legend. He continues to can be seen as Arthur Spooner in the sitcom KING OF QUEENS. And what's the secret to over 40 years of wedded comedic bliss?
