Bea Decter is a homemaker who lives in West Orange, New Jersey. She's been a loyal viewer of EGG since 1999. "I've been a fan of EGG for years!" says Bea. "I don't think I will have to watch all of them to pick my favorite!" From the EGG episode "The Voice" Decter selected a segment featuing Juan Diego Florez, the newest star tenor at New York's Metropolitan Opera. "My father had the most beautiful voice," she says. "He felt that God had given him a gift. He appreciated what he had and so did this singer." From "Giving Up the Ghost," Decter selected a segment on photographer Sally Mann whose recent projects centered on the subject of death -- the last taboo. Mann's pictures of the bones of her dead dog really hit a chord with Bea Decter. Finally, Decter selected Andy Goldsworthy purposefully interweaves impermanence into his artworks by using natural materials, often at the very place where he finds them.
