I do not think Carl Prine's reporting makes America safer in that his reporting will do nothing to stop loss of life in America from terrorist attacks. I think if terrorists wanted to attack chemical facilities then on 9/11 they would have flown planes into chemical facilities. They did not do this simply because they wanted maximum loss of life. Attacking a chemical facility will not do this. Attacking a filled stadium, a school,an office building or a church on a Sunday morning stand a better chance of killing more people than a chemical facility. Yes a chemical facility would be dramatic as would attacking anyplace. Carl Prine is just trying to stir up fear which always sells great in America. We are in no way safer because of Carl Prine.

Thanks once again to the irresponsible media for showing the less enlightened how to break into a chemical plant, a water treatment plant, or any location that stores hazardous materials.
The fact is that our life in America today depends upon the use of these chemicals and perhaps the media should be reporting on how the government could better keep those who would use this knowledge outside of our borders rather than inside them.

So…let’s imagine Carl Prine not doing this feature, and a hazmat train being used by terrorists in an attack against us. Everyone would be upset that no one saw it coming, now wouldn’t they? And who would they blame?
Terrorists didn’t need Prine’s help in the Sept. 11 attacks. Unfortunately, they’re often way ahead of us. Prine is just trying to hold accountable those who are responsible for storing and transporting potentially lethal chemicals. Why is this so difficult to understand? People should instead direct their anger and outrage at corporations that resist increased safety measures and government agencies that fail to impose them. It is their social responsibility to ensure our safety.
