Can ‘t seem to find me.
I was born in1961, in Long Island. I went from the hospital to my parents via ambulance. My parents had 2 natural children and I became the 4th foster child. My brother Ronald was legally adopted, but my natural mother, Lori, did not surrender me. My parents were of West Indian decent. My parents were the first people allowed to take foster children out of the continental United States. The Donadelle’s relocated to St. Thomas.
I’ve been married for 32 years and have come to that point in my life when I need to know who I am and where my children get their gifts from. I was raised with love and never felt I lacked a mother’s love. My mom has since passed away and the need to know my history is biting at my heels. I hope you can help. Nassau County Department of Social Services is of no help in my quest. My natural mother ‘s name is Lori Lane. I was told she was married to a gentleman in the military. Her father was a minister and I was the product of an affair. There’s the possibility that I have an older brother. She did love me! She put me in a good home and visited me until I was about 2 years old. Once I knew who she was, she stopped coming. I really just want her to know that I’m happy, I have a wonderful husband and family. I decorate cakes and LOVE IT! I would love to know who gave me that gift.
