I took both the FamilyTreeDNA Family Finder test and the 23andme test. I matched to 2 4th cousins from an American family of French-Canadian descent. While I am still not 100% sure who my father is I now know who my great-great grandparents are as that as been proved out by matching my many French-Canadian cousins and then cross checking their extensive family trees for matches. Adoptees are flooding to these tests to discover the biological families from which we have so long been separated. 23andme has had at least one fellow who on opening his test results found a 1/2 sister which eventually led him to his biological mother and 5 other 1/2 siblings. Please do an adoptee story!!!!!!!!!!
