Granny's Night Out

Greetings family I am 51yrs old soon to be 52 years old. My great grandmother ‘Mollie” Stone- Powell born 1864 lived to be 101 years old. I enjoyed 6yrs with her and alot of memories, her daughter Weller Stone-White is my mother’s (Doris White-Johnson) mother and Iam Weller’s name sake. Since I was around age 6 or 7, I always wondered where were the rest of their siblings, cousins, aunts and uncles. I stared out the window ofter with such thoughts. I would listen in on the conversations they had late at night trying to get some information. As I got older I decided to start searching for my family in the year 2000. I left my home town St paul Minnesota and went to where my mother and her siblings thought their father was born (Carolina’s) I found an apartment on the internet and took a leep of Faith, quick my state job and sold my house. I settled in South Charlotte North Carolina just blocks away from the South Carolina boarder. I spent hours on the computer and at the Historical Society in South Carolina. Since my search began I have found a great deal of information but no actual contacts; however I did manage to find some relatives on my mother’s, mother side of the family. Through the grace of God my mother transitioned home with information she grew up without. I keep searching and now I feel stumped. I need extra help at this point I have alot of pictures I pray to travel in the counties in which family members were born in the hopes I can gather more information. I am willing to gt a DNA completed. I have studied hard and long to piece things together. God continues to reveal things to me through numbers. I pray to meet Louis one day. If anyone has family members with the last names Stone, White, Powell, Johnson, Hughes, Wrycraw. My gggrandmother was Irene Johnson on my mother’s side, and My father was Earnest Johnson who’s father was born in Virginia, HIS sibling were born Massuchuttes and Minnesota(Harrison, James, Matthew, Nathan, and Sarah. My gggrandfather was Freeman White on my mother’s side My moms father’s siblings, (Freeman, John, Livivia, Dorency, Hardy, Glover ) I have some pictures of the people I mention and will post the later. FAMILY I KNOW YOU ARE OUT THERE. IF YOUR SPIRIT FEELS THIS PLEASE RESPOND, Sometimes we don’t respond because the names don’t ring a bell. Our ancesters are spirit felt in my search.

My maiden name is White. My father’s side of the family are from Mississippi. He had a brother that ran away from the family when he was a kid. They never saw or heard from him again. I don’t have much information about that side of the family. But, you are welcome to write to me.
