The hardest evidence to find through family lore and lines
While looking htrough all my family lines, there was one thing I coud not find, except as intreguing clues : inherant neurological disorders. My son was diagnosed with Asperger’s syndrom, high – functioning autiism. My mother believes one of her uncles may have been autistic. I, in turn found something odd, when I found my maternal, maternal great grandmother and her family in the 1900 census: her oldest uncle was living with hte family. Perhaps he, too was autistic – though that is just a guess.
I, and both f my children, my brother and maybe my maternal uncle all have aDD or aDHD – my son and brother are more hyper, generally, while I’m more day-dreammy.
I know why so many of my mother’s kin are so short : obviously, we are descended from Gnomes (joke) – and, as for the prepensaty to gain weight easily, we have an ancestor surnmaed Stout.
