ADVENTURE CONTINUES:
The production staff got into the action. Series Director Maro Chermayeff had her adventures in babysitting when she spent the night at the Glenns' cabin with Erinn and Logan. Meanwhile, by the fourth month on the frontier, homesickness had infected the families; it seems like ages since they've enjoyed the comforts of the 21st century.
The tragic reminder of the outside world came shortly after September 11th when the families were given local newspapers recording the attack. Gordon Clune responded to the tragedy with a heartfelt handwritten letter.
