Comment: I've been a Josh Groban fan (a.k.a. "Grobanite") for quite some time, and seeing Josh Groban perform in concert on PBS for the first time was a real treat -- seeing that I haven't seen him on tour yet, and this is probably the next best thing. ... I even introduced my grandmother to Josh Groban when I recorded it [the show] at my grandmother's house, and she too thinks that he's got a nice singing voice and dresses really nice. I'll never get over this concert! It was breathtaking! I hope to see more PBS specials with Josh Groban in the future.

Comment: I really loved the 1980s performance of "The Gospel at Colonus." I really wish that you would sell video copies of this show. I have looked for a copy of this play for years and it is still impossible to locate.

Name: Michael
Comment: "The Gospel at Colonus" was a great production. I cannot find it anywhere on VHS or DVD. Please air this magnificent production again.

Name: Norman D. Calhoun
Comment: History will reveal what many of us already know, the unique and never to be duplicated beauty of the voice of Leontyne Price. We can never get enough of this phenomenal gift to mankind that has so graciously been offered and cared for by Miss Price.

Name: Eric
Comment: Please make "The Gospel at Colonus" a priority for rebroadcast. This is a great family viewing experience. Also, it would be great if you would make it available for purchase as a DVD. This is a treasure!

Name: Kit
Comment: Would you replay Gershwins' "Crazy for You"? I have always loved the music of that musical but have never saw the production!

Name: Ron
Comment: I can always count on quality content from PBS. I believe the greatest performance ever aired was "The Gospel at Colonus." I can only hope that this performance will be aired again.

Name: Delphine McRae
Comment: I saw an airing of "The Gospel at Colonus" on GREAT PERFORMANCES back in the '80s. Since then I've looked for it to air again especially during Black History month, which was when I first saw it. To my dismay, it has not aired again. I am a watchdog for this program, for I have told so many people what an excellent production it is, and I would love to be able to share in this delight with so many others who enjoy such programming. I think it's time to air it again.

Comment: Wow! I hate [that] I missed Josh Groban's PBS special; hopefully it will air again soon. He has the most powerful and beautiful voice I have ever heard. His music touches the very chords of one's soul. I hope that he never abandons his ballad style for pop culture. I wish him the best in his continuing climb to the top.

Name: Sheila Jones
Comment: I am a fan of GREAT PERFORMANCES. I have been exposed to great culture and it has helped expand my vision. "The Gospel at Colonus" ... is a great piece of black history, and I would love to use it at our school to expose the children to the story of "Oedipus Rex."

Name: Tal
Comment: Bernadette Peters should be seen over and over again because it would make GREAT PERFORMANCES even better! I'm her biggest fan so please show more of her on your channel!
