Comment: I loved "Kiss Me, Kate"! I started watching with my seven-year-old daughter and now she is hooked on theater performances. What a tremendous way to build a love of culture in our children!

Name: DJ Carson
Comment: I remember a wonderful version of "Comedy of Errors" you presented in the early-1980s that involved the motto "juggle or die."... Only wish you had it available on video. Thanks for 30 wonderful years.

Comment: GREAT PERFORMANCES is the best show I've seen.

Name: Judy Pope
Comment: I LOVED the 30th Anniversary GREAT PERFORMANCES Celebration! I'm hoping to purchase a video or CD, or both!

Name: Perry Sanchez
Comment: This 30th Anniversary special was fabulous. It would be a great DVD/VHS offer.

Name: Ronald Folks
Comment: My favorite program was the recreation of the original "Rite of Spring" ballet. It was in two parts: first came a documentary on how the performance was recreated then came a performance of the ballet. I still wish I'd known to have videotape handy.

Comment: Happy Anniversary. I enjoy watching the programs you guys show. I especially was thrilled when you guys had the "Les Misérables" 10th year anniversary [concert]. It took me back to the day when I saw it at the Ahmanson [in Los Angeles]. It was the most memorable musical I have ever seen and to see the 10th anniversary of it on GREAT PERFORMANCES, wow. I hope you guys re-air it again once more. Keep bringing great shows to us.

Name: Steve K
Comment: GREAT PERFORMANCES has opened my horizons greatly. I have always loved theater, but if not for GREAT PERFORMANCES, I would not be able to experience all there is to offer. The series brings me a lot closer.

Comment: We enjoy IPTV, GREAT PERFORMANCES especially. "Kiss Me, Kate" was especially good, but the "30th Anniversary Celebration" was very special. We are now 80 years old and this was the music of our lifetime. I am sorry it is not available on DVD or VHS. We hope it will air again sometime.

Name: Denise
Comment: As a younger viewer, I regret that I never got to see Gelsey Kirkland in "Theme and Variations" or Suzanne Farrell in "Diamonds." I have heard so much about PBS programs from the golden age of ballet. I wish there were re-runs! I really enjoyed NYCB's ''Swan Lake" and ABT's "Le Corsaire." PBS's commitment to bringing world-class arts to the public is admirable. I hope that you will continue in this effort for many years to come! (More ballet, pleeeease!)

Name: Jacqueline E. Williams
Comment: The best show ["Great Performances 30th Anniversary"], ever! ... Thank you for providing those of us who have no hope of ever seeing the likes of Michael Crawford with this opportunity. I am a substitute teacher, in the Willis ISD, and I encourage my students to watch for great performers. I am so thankful for this station.

Name: Meredith Hutchings
Comment: I watch every GREAT PERFORMANCES I can. I have watched it for all 30 years. There aren't many performances I have not enjoyed. I would be hard put to name my favorite, but ... any Broadway musical or symphonic production would top the list. I must have missed the oft-mentioned "The Gospel at Colonus," to my loss, from what I read.

Name: Rachael
Comment: I really enjoyed watching this ["Great Performances 30th Anniversary"]. Although I was not alive throughout the entire 30 years, I can truly appreciate the great actors and actresses before my time.
