Comment: GREAT PERFORMANCES' "My Favorite Broadway: The Love Songs" was great. I loved it.

Comment: GREAT PERFORMANCES' broadcast of the "Andrew Lloyd Webber 50th Birthday Celebration" from Royal Albert Hall was a turning point in my life. I not only enjoyed the fabulous music, but discovered the talent of Michael Ball, who was the original Marius in "Les Misérables," Alex in ALW's "Aspects of Love" in London and on Broadway, and Raoul in "Phantom of the Opera" in London. The GREAT PERFORMANCES broadcasts introduce us to music and performers that we otherwise would never discover. THANK YOU SO MUCH. What a world it has opened up to us right in our own homes.

Comment: I viewed "The Gospel at Colonus" and ... it was a moving experience that I have never forgotten!!

Comment: I can't get enough dance and ballet on TV! At the very least, GREAT PERFORMANCES wets the appetite of balletomanes and other dance lovers.

I hope PBS or GP can create a separate cable/satellite channel, which replays the great shows of GP's past. ... I certainly would support such an endeavor. Nonetheless, happy anniversary, GREAT PERFORMANCES!

Comment: I am very glad that GREAT PERFORMANCES is on PBS. I REALLY enjoyed seeing my favorite musicals, "Jesus Chirst Superstar" and "Joesph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat," and I might not have had that opportunity living so far away from NY and all. Thanks!!

Comment: "The Gospel at Colonus" knocked my socks off when I saw it. I long for a rerun of one of the most thrilling musicals productions ever.

Comment: GREAT PERFORMANCES is a very entertaining, yet eclectic collection of various genres of art performed by a wide range of artists, musicians, and entertainers. It's amazing over the years the long, elite list of individuals who've contributed to this show one of the longest running in TV history, along with a unique list of shows and themes appealing to all people, regardless of how much one is into the performing arts. My favorite shows (in no particular order) are: The making of the "Guys and Dolls" and "The Producers" soundtracks; "Tap Dance In America," featuring all those great hoofers ranging from Tommy Tune, Manhattan Tap, Savion Glover to the ATDO [American Tap Dance Orchestra] and many of the super-legends of hoofing; the Chuck Jones biography with lots of those great clips from the Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies cartoons we all grew up with; ... plus, both installments of "My Favorite Broadway" featuring concert performances of Broadway songs old and new by many of our favorite performers. As for the future, I hope we'll continue to see more of the type of entertainment and information this show provides.

Comment: You could replay all the musicals and I would be in heaven.

Comment: Nothing pleases me more than to spend an evening listening to GREAT PERFORMANCES.

Name: Kristina Housley
Comment: I love to watch all of the things that you bring to PBS through GREAT PERFORMANCES.

Name: Diana
Comment: I am on a high school competitive ballroom dance team, and I just wanted you to know how impressed I was with "Burn the Floor." I only saw it for the first time this year, and I can't wait for next year. I wish it would show again this season, though. I also love watching the musicals. Nothing is as good as performing one yourself or seeing one live, but the way YOU put together the film make it pretty real to me.

Comment: I congratulate PBS on all the hard work in maintaining a program of such meaning, power, and profoundness, in a meaningless and shallow society. It must be hard, but I'm here to urge you to maintain it on the air for it is a wonderful nutrient for our souls. Congratulations once again and keep up the good work!

Comment: I've spent nearly half of my life enjoying the programs of GREAT PERFORMANCES. Though, at age 17, that's not a longtime, it has made a profound impact on my perspective of the arts. GREAT PERFORMANCES gives me a chance to see my favorite musicals ("Crazy for You," "Jesus Christ Superstar," "My Favorite Broadway,") and it exposes me to other extraordinary programs ("Play On," "Burn the Floor"). My heart beats a little faster when I see each new season's lineup. No other program on television has given me such an incredible opportunity: to see REAL art in action. I am inspired by this program! Thank you, GREAT PERFORMANCES! Happy Anniversary, may the next 30 years be just as wonderful!
