Comment: I love Sophocles and the idea of a gospel version of Oedipus at Colonus intrigued me. It was one of the most beautiful moving performances I have ever seen. I regret that I did not see the performance in person, however, I just bought the original cast recording today and it is as fantastic as I remembered.

Comment: On GREAT PERFORMANCES, more than 10 years ago, you showed the George Hearn and Angela Lansbury performance of "Sweeney Todd." I hope you re-air that masterpiece by the extremely talented Stephen Sondheim.

I aspire to be on Broadway, and I'm always ecstatic to see when you air musicals and anything theater related. Thank you! And it would be absolutely fabulous of you to re-air any of the musicals, especially "Crazy for You."

Comment: Very unique and educational. I would like to watch this classic piece of art rather than a movie. GREAT PERFORMANCES makes me feel younger. I will encourage my friends and children to watch it as well. This is another way to treat stress, in my opinion.
