In this lesson students will explore the creation of the Los Angeles Philharmonic's new Walt Disney Concert Hall. Working in small groups, students will perform collaborative research on the construction and design of the new hall and its architectural and acoustical elements, and examine other structures designed by its renowned architect, Frank Gehry. In the final activity, the students will design their own "Dream Music Space."
