Extraordinarily talented actors and musicians.Love this.
Brilliantly wonderful play! I am interested in production and broadcasting in all ways. I am always interested in REAL, and this definitely takes theatre to the next level!
I caught it while flipping channels and I could not stop watching! I wish I could have caught this live.
Just stumbled across this on PBS tonite, and I was Knocked OUT! InCREDible energy;great performances;and some sly parodies of Punk & “German rock”.. I LOVED it!
Not many plays capture the energy and interaction of a live band; this DID. Can’t wait to see where
Stew & Heidi go next!!!
Bless you, Spike Lee and Great Performances, for bringing this to us. Stew won the Tony for Best Book the same year as Lin Manuel-Miranda won Best Score for “In the Heights”. There was definitely a new energy on Broadway. Absolutely brilliant! So many quotable lyrics. A masterpiece. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
