I bought the CD on line before it was released to the general public…………………FABULOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It makes you laugh, cry and become so sentimental……as all of Mr. Bennett’s tunes do. I recall seeing Mr. Bennett at the Concord Hotel, in upstate NY, when I was 12 years old. Not ashamed to admit I am now 60 and have remained a fan all this time <3

I thoroughly enjoyed this show! Very well done. The talent was beyond compare and the music was fabulous. It clearly and lovingly illustrated the mastery, joy, and wisdom of Tony Bennett. I’m going to brag about the progeam on Facebook. I hope local stations will carry the show during the next few days and that pbs.org posts it so that no one who wants to see it will miss it. I’m glad I saw it! Thank you.

I fell to sleep watching the Pro Bowl… and was awakened by Tony and his recordings “Duets II.” What a wonderful way to begin my day at 2AM…. Having a rare relatively clear mind this music touched me and took me on a mind warping experience. I remembered my father who I grew-up with listening to Tony and may other “cronies” of the time. A blend of past experiences flew threw my mind – as I heard (my daughter in law Jamie singing along too, because this is the sort of music she can appreciate and sing so very well. Thank you Great Performances for a great way to start my day….

It’s up to your local station when it decides to re-air the program. It may return to some markets for March pledge, but again that’s up to local affiliates. Click the link below for PBS’ schedule widget and input your zip code and method of broadcast (antenna, cable, or satellite) and you should be able to search for upcoming programming.

I watched this Duet’s 2 on Friday, Jan. 27, 2012. I didn’t know it was on, so I missed the first 15 minutes. When I did realize it was on, I started to tape it. I have watched it 3 times since! I loved it so much, that I have watched it 3 times already. I also have the CD, which I listen to almost every day in my car. I love Tony Bennet. I have always loved his music. He puts so much feeling into everything he sings. He brings out such emotion in me, that I cannot help but cry when I listen to most of his songs. It is a good cry, and I always feel so good when I listen to him sing the songs. I wish PBS would air this Duet’s 2 again, so I could tape the entire show. I LOVED IT SO MUCH! If it is on TV again, I hope I know which day and time.

I used to like Tony Bennett until I heard him speaking about his Un-American views. I will not support him any longer. He’s stayed around a little too long.

  • Cathy S.

What Un-American views did Tony say? I think he is a nice man, and has had a wonderful and fulling career. I’m sorry you feel that way.

  • Patricia P.

I too like others did not know the Tony Bennett Duets II was on, at the time I tuned in. I truly enjoyed the portions that I got to see. Where can I can a video of this program?.

  • marie giuca

I missed half of the show. Will it be on again?

  • Keith T

This show is a Classic. In addition to the great performances, the arrangements for the singers and the band are beautiful. The obvious respect that the performers have for each other enhances the show. Queen Latipha and K.D. Lang were knockouts. Lada Gaga showed her wonderful versatility. Faith Hill, Josh Groban—beautiful, and I could go on and on. I’ve watched it twice, so far. Thank you, PBS.

  • nellie f

Wonderful Tony, as I watched you an your guess I got so
emotional, but as you and Aretha sang tears ran down
my face and at that moment a tear also ran down your face.
Tony you are a class act.
