Yes, indeed – where is the cast list? We love watching the progress of these suburb English actors and it’s maddening not to be able to read the cast at the end of the performance when, as one viewer said, the names flash by at warp speed. Thanks. Margaret Mantle

What a stunning production! The entire cast was superb. This is a production to be seen again and again.

the presentation if no basic info will be there?

This performance was the best that I’ve seen so far and was extremely moving. I think Ian McKellan captured the essence of madness and grief without the need to go over the top that other King Lears have relied on. The other actors in the cast were brilliant as well. I do hope that PBS will consider broadcasting this performance again in the near future.

Utterly hypnotic production with McKellan at his brilliant best but the rest of the cast was pretty darned good as well. Can’t wait to see it over and over again.

I just viewed “Lear” on Channel 13 in New York. The cast list scrolled through at warp speed and thus I went to the PBS website. Unfortunately, I didn’t find a cast list there. I was very moved by all the players and would love to know their names so that I may be alert to their future roles.

Where IS the cast list? Is PBS so callous that it cannot acknowledge the actors of this play. McKellan I know. Who was the Cordelia, etc.? This is sheer populist barbarism run amuck.
