	On Friday, March 12, 1999, at 9pm Eastern Time, GREAT PERFORMANCES presents "Andrew Lloyd Webber 50th Birthday Celebration -- A GREAT PERFORMANCES Special" on PBS. (Check local listings.) This program features highlights of the star-studded musical tribute to Lloyd Webber at the Royal Albert Hall in London. In Behind the Scenes, writer Michael Coveney describes the setting and background of this gala concert. In Meet the Artists, we have a one-on-one visit with the honoree himself. Finally, we take a musical tour of the songs performed in A Look at the Work.
