Dick Mattson, a bow specialist with Shar Fine Instruments & Bows, received his masters of performance in cello from Michigan State University. In addition to his duties at Shar, he teaches and performs professionally and delights in combining his skills as a cellist and bowmaker to help players of all ability levels.

Oliver Radke has been involved with violin making and major restoration since 1985. He attended the State Violin Making School in Mittenwald, Germany, and was awarded master violinmaker status at Handwerkskammer, Hamburg, Germany, in 1992. He is a master restorer with Shar Fine Instruments & Bows.
