Bob Fosse was considered a Broadway genius with the arrival of "Little Me," a musical that harnessed the talents of playwright Neil Simon and comedey legend Sid Caesar. A burlesque of the notorious "as-told-to" biographies by silver screen idols, "Little Me" portrayed the memoirs of a fictional self-made star named Belle Poitrine. In her quest for wealth and social position, the promiscuous
actress embarks upon an extravagant artistic career while accompanied by a series of romantic admirers, all of whom were played by Sid Caesar. |
