This is really beautiful. I really love hearing this kind of fusion of musics from different cultures. Then again I might be a little bias…
Gino Sitson will also be performing at this weekend’s Freihofer’s Jazz Festival at Saratoga Performing Arts Center! He’s on the Sunday bill along with George Benson, Dave Brubeck, Bettye LaVette, George Coleman and a slew of other jazz greats!
Check out this whole site ..some very interesting things for you..
Completely unexpected, that Tibetan singer’s chords really stuck in my head. Love her
This was an unexpected gift this morning – similar to when several birdsongs drift into my window at the same time- full of counter beats, and tonal delicacies that make me stop breathing so I can catch them. I am a painter/dancer that lets my brush follow the color of the music – and this will mark my energy today. Thank you Bobby and all, and this wonderful web site.
Powerful! Can’t stop playing it.
sweet polyrhythms going on here
