While this is a neat little map, some more research should have gone into plotting where the various wildlife can be found. For example, one of the largest herds of elk in the park is in the Lamar Valley (upper northeast section), and that isn’t shown. There are bald eagles in several other places, including Mammoth. Grizzly bears are much more widespread than indicated, as is the wolf.
Although Secret Yellowstone wants to show and tell the world where more wildlife is to be found, I think it is appropriate not to reveal where all the animals herd or hibernate. I will post another comment on the Yellowstone Christmas video forum. Given that people still like to hunt bears (Grizzly Bear is threatened/endangered) I think the wildlife should be allowed to have secret places.
