what was the background music? which group(s)/recordings?
Can you tell me where the music came from and who performed for the Drakensburg episode – especially when the birds were flying over the mountains? It was a great show. Thanks.
I am echoing the above two comments regarding the music. What info can you share? It was so peaceful and relaxing.
We all loved the music! In the credits listed above, vocals were by ISINGIZI, which, after Googling a bit, I’ve discovered have a myspace page with at least one song to sample…enjoy!

I am always astounded by the beautiful soundtracks in the Nature series. The music is always perfect, and that must be a difficult task to accomplish. Thank you for never overlooking such a tremendously important feature!
The Music was composed by Kurt Adametz

Thank you for your interest in the Drakensberg-music!
I produced the soundtrack in cooperation with the famous artists “Insingizi”. Working together was an outstanding, great challenge and finally a big success. The soundtrack is soon available at iTunes-store, please serach for “Kurt Adametz”.
If you have any questions or need help check out http://www.soundtracks.at or http://www.adametz.info – you are welcome!
Also spent valuable time watching Drakensberg and loved the music which drew you more into the sequences unfolding before you which also educated you more into places you will probably not venture due to timing, money and interests – but it did include you in a way that you would not easily forget it and the entire productions deserves credit for incredible filming and music start to finish – it was well worth watching.
