Beautiful program and music. Can you provide more information on the music? Mahalo.

I agree that this was a spectacular program. It’s on again tonight and I’m recording it so that I can watch it over and over. I too loved the music. I see on the credits that it was done by David Mitcham. It was beautiful and soothing. Does he have albums for sale?

LS Schoenharl -- May 4th, 2009 at 12:04 pm

A very engaging program. Will the music be available soon?

NATURE Online -- May 4th, 2009 at 12:18 pm

Unfortunately, I don’t believe that the music is currently available to purchase or download.

I just watched this wonderful program and also enjoyed the Celtic music very much. I found MP3-format (downloadable) music from the program on David Mitcham’s website:
http://www.davidmitcham.co.uk/tv_eagle.htm.

Mithcam’s score is built on an old Celtic tune “Women of Ireland” I first became familiar with from the soundtrack to Kubrick’s “Barry Lyndon.” So far unable to find composer – it may be anonymous.

Great show-sad to read that some degenerate actualy poisoned bait and killed a sea eagle hatched on Mull. Perhaps they need to establish a compensation fund for livestock owners. Please make this show available on video for purchase ASAP.

How soon will the DVD be able for purchase? Everything about this show was marvelous.
