I just watched a documentary called "Why We Love Cats and Dogs". I have attempted to find ELLEN GOOSENBERG KENT's email address but upon searching for her information, I found that she's a highly acclaimed award-winning director. What a wonderful piece into the world of pet owners. My dog has been diagnosed with lymphoma and cried when the traveling German Shepard was diagnosed with cancer during the documentary. I just wanted to know if she ever had any plans for filming a documentary on the grieving process when we, as pet owners, treat and care for our animals when diagnosed with a terminal illness and how mourning for a pet is quite similar to that of a family member. It should also include how some people do not understand why we spend so much money on treatments and how pet owners are often ostracized for it.

It is something I have never seen before and am sure that alot of pet-owners can relate to. I am going through this process now and belong to a great online source called "Support for Pets with Cancer". The heartache we experience is one that tears at the soul. This site is filled with individual emotional rollercoasters that will enable everyone to empathize with what we are feeling as caring mommies and daddies.

I would really appreciate your help in either forwarding her contact information or possibly forwarding what I've written to you.

Thank you very much for your time and understanding.

The show was incredible. I am interested to find whether Tracie Hotchner was conducting the candid interviews in the start of the program. I listen on occasion to her NPR show weekly.
thank you
