Only 16 years old, George has been through some rough spots. He’s been homeless, and he spent some time in jail. However, since meeting a quarter horse named Ostentatious, George says he’s finally found someone who trusts and loves him. A horse, he says, “can bring back a feeling in a person that has disappeared long since.”

It blesses my life to see George share his heart after working with the show horse. I too was very troubled and was given an oportunity to work with dogs at 56 years I still find them to be my greatist therapy.
I also was privileged to work with cats in a shelter when I was 56. I continue to work with them today and find my life filled with blessings and health.
