Rules for Problem-Based Learning

1. I organize all ideas and facts relating to a problem in a way that facilitates action.

2. I become a master of the information and ideas that I acquire in my research.

3. I can communicate my facts and ideas so that all can learn from them.

4. I encourage everyone to participate.

5. I am a good listener and recognize that there can be many valid points of view.

6. I always question the evidence and logic behind my own or someone else's viewpoint.

7. I am willing to change my mind when new evidence indicates that I should.

8. I recognize that there is more than one way to solve a problem.
