Extraordinary Cats
Cats command our attention, and often our devotion. They maintain a touch of wildness, even as pets. They are loving, playful, independent, graceful, fascinating and enormously popular. This program introduces viewers to some serious cat fanciers and their cats, including a cat psychologist and her clients, and actress Tippi Hedren and the big cats who live in her cat sanctuary. We also meet some extraordinary cats, like Scarlett, who suffered severe burns to rescue her kittens from a burning building; Reebok, who saved the life of a little girl; and Sooty, who travelled six months and a hundred miles to find her human family.
