The San lived in the Drakensberg area for 4,000 years. They left behind the largest collection of rock paintings in Africa south of the Sahara.
Around 1,500 years ago, an ancient civilization formed these geoglyphs, giant rock carvings, but they never would have been able to see their own creations.
