Katherine Ellison is a Pulitzer-prize-winning former foreign correspondent and author of four books, most recently, “Buzz: A Year of Paying Attention,” which tells the story of a year in which she spent trying to figure out how to repair her relationship with her 12-year-old son. Both Ellison and her son have been diagnosed with attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder.
