The Daily Need

Participants at the Occupy Wall Street demonstrations are entering their 10th day camping out in the financial district of New York City. Several hundred activists have been gathering near Wall Street since September 17, protesting the mortgage crisis, bank bailouts, wealth inequality and the cost of war, among other things. More than 80 people were arrested Saturday for disorderly conduct and blocking traffic when they marched from Zuccotti Park to Union Square. Photo: Flickr/David Shankbone

Finally, you cover this protest and this is sign you chose as your graphic. There are plenty of great signs that Occupy Wall Street uses that are more appropriate. This report and photograph belittles the protesters. Please NPR, a lazy journalism could have copied a pic off Occupy Wall St.’s Facebook page. Instead you use an picture of someone trying to nap.

One could say exactly the same thing about Tea Party coverage…. but my guess is you like the sign that helps you classify them as racists.
