Need to Know, September 7, 2012: 100 days

This week's host, Jeff Greenfield.

Need to Know reports from Charlotte, N.C., the site of the Democratic convention. Anchor Jeff Greenfield looks ahead to what Mitt Romney’s first hundred days in office might look like and what Barack Obama might do in the days immediately following his possible re-election.

Jeff interviews Major Garrett about what each candidate will face should they win in November. Garrett spent eight years at Fox News where he was the Chief White House Correspondent. Garrett is now the White House Correspondent for National Journal.

In Jeff’s Final Note, he looks back at elections past and notes that sometimes there are black swans in politics – completely unpredictable events such as the assassination of Robert Kennedy and the financial meltdown in 2008 – that alter the outcomes of elections.
