Stuytown goes green with a fresh coat of white

Premiered: August 9, 2018 | 0:05:13

One of the largest residential communities in Manhattan, Stuyvesant Town Peter Cooper Village is going green with a simple coat of white. White rooftops can help to not only cool down the city, but it’s the perfect spot to house the nearly 10,000 solar panels that the city plans to install by next year. Our partners at MetroFocus report on the newest addition to the NYC CoolRoofs initiative happening in Stuy Town.
