Would you live in a 100% solar-powered community?

Premiered: November 11, 2018 | 0:09:09

In an attempt to “do it the right way,” developer Syd Kitson is building Babcock Ranch, an 18,000-acre planned community just north of Ft. Meyers, with hope that it can operate almost entirely on solar power. So far the town has 200 residents, though Kitson is aiming to lure as many as 50,000 in coming decades. Our partners at PBS Newshour Weekend report on the potential for this modern, sustainable city.
