“Is there a point at which a change of heart no longer means anything to God?” Watch more of our interview with pastor and author Rob Bell.

Praise the Lord for Robb’s enlightenment! I do not believe in life after death as traditonally taught by the Christian religion. I beleive we live on in the memories of those who knew us on earth, that is my concept of ‘ETERNAL LIFE”.

What a wonderful, life-affirm ing and this world centered set of ideas. should make everyone more relaxed as they go about spreading the root of the “Good News.”

We are not here to judge only God Himself can say who is going to heaven and who is not. I know that it is this clear cut, YOU MUSY BE BORN AGAIN to get in the gates of heaven!! God is a merciful God and anyone can be saved, if they ask believe repent any have faith and let the Lord’s word help you and guide you in the steps you take in your daily life. We are ALL sinners even us that are born again and that is why God gave His Son to the cross! He knew before hand that we are not perfect and cannot be, HIS BLOOD washes away our sin. Yes the road to Heaven is narrow and the road to hell wide. He tlls you it will not always be easy but He also said with Me all things are possible through ME! God bless you all and I pray that all give their lives to CHRIST!!

AMEN Pastor Bell, AMEN!!! At last. Someone shut off the Dogma running in their mind long enough to hear the clear message that Jesus left us.

This message resides in every one of us. Thank you Pastor Bell for listening to your heart.

What is there left to teach? Plenty. It will take a very long, long time to undo the massive damage done by various ‘well-meaning’ doctrines.

The critical yet oh-so-simple message is the same as it has been through the ages… Care for your fellow Man. Do onto others as you would have them do onto you. (or something along those lines… )

The quickest way to Heaven, is to pave your road in life with love and good deeds. Yes, there is much left to teach about this simple way of life. It is far too easy to stop building. That’s where fellowship fits in.

Finally, millions of people across the universe are paving their roads with love and good deeds. Most of whom do not belong to the Christian Faith, but we will meet them all some day. When we reach our heaven.

Keep on keeping on Pastor Bell. Keep walking in the Love and Light.

Mr. Bell, please study ALL the places of scripture pertaining to life after death (eternity), not just those that support your theory. For example:

In my Father’s house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. You know the way to the place where I am going. -John 14:2-4 (seems like the time on earth should be spent finding the way that leads to…a place somewhere…else….a place Jesus is preparing)

And he said, these are they who have come out of the great tribulation; they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. Therefore, they are before the throne of God and serve him day and night in his temple; and he who sits on the throne will spread his tent over them. Never again will they hunger; never again will they thirst. The sun will not beat upon them, nor any scorching heat. For the Lamb at the center of the throne will be their shepherd; he will lead them to springs of living water. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes. -Revelation 7:14-17 (that other place will not have any tears)

He who overcomes will inherit all this, and I will be his God and he will be my son. But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars–their place will be in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death. -Revelation 21:5-7 (more than one death? …seems like people are going to different places AFTER this earthly life…)

We are confident, I say, and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord. -2 Corinthians 5:8 (where is this home that I go to AFTER I leave my body?)

If I am to go on living in the body, this will mean fruitful labor for me. Yet what shall I choose? I do not know! I am torn between the two: I desire to depart and be with Christ, which is better by far. -Philippians 1:22-23 (If we are not really going anywhere, then why would anyone want to die and leave the only place of reality?)

God did not spare angels when they sinned, but sent them to hell, putting them in chains of darkness to be held for judgment. -2 Peter 2:4 (a place other than heaven and earth? A real place called hell where some spiritual beings are chained up and awaiting some sort of judgment?)

Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live holy and godly lives as you look forward to the day of God and speed its coming. That day will bring about the destruction of the heavens by fire, and the elements will melt in the heat. But in keeping with his promise we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, where righteousness dwells. -2 Peter 3:11-13 (everything will be destroyed? melted? by fire? a NEW heaven and NEW earth will be made (not restored)?)

Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. -Matthew 25:41 (fire? eternal? prepared only for devil and his angels…yet God will send certain people to that place?)

Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life. -Matthew 25:46 (I’m not educated in Greek, but if the Greek word here for “eternal punishment” doesn’t really mean eternal, then is the eternal life that is promised not really eternal either?)

Rob Bell says that this and that type of behavior cannot be in the New Earth. RB leaves out many other this and thats that a Holy God cannot allow in his New heaven and Earth. Doing good is good but not good enough to stand before a Holy God in the final end and New Beginning.

So how are we to be part of this New heaven and Earth? By taking on the provision of Jesus (He took our unholiness on himself), and receiving the personal presence of Jesus. Jesus was and is the only perfect person who can enable us to be part of this New Heaven and Earth. The person who has Jesus the Son has eternal life, but he who does not have Jesus does not have eternal life. (I John 5:12) We become like Him through HIM.
This is why Jesus said, ” I am the Way, the Truth and the Life. No man or woman comes to the Father but through me.” (John 14:6)
